Who is DVG?
There is no DVG. The ‘term’ DVG actually began at an art function over a decade ago and stuck. I sign my work with lower case dvg on the side of my canvas so not to take away from the subject matter.
David studied art on Vancouver Island, and followed that training with a mentorship in Toronto later in life. Somewhere mid 2002 and 2003 the decision was made to take things more seriously. My mission to create fun offerings with lots of character was rolled out, and I never looked back.
Early on, my focus was elemental and landscape pieces. That has now progressed into animation, nature, realism, architecture and beyond. Art for me is somewhat therapeutic. I can paint 365 days a year and never get tired of creating things that make people happy.
